The Way is a four-part original abstract artwork from the Whispers series, created on raw cotton canvas with diluted acrylics, water and layered pigment.

Its palette draws from nature, moving through earthy brown, muted green and softened neutral tones. Across the four separate canvases, fluid marks and shifting areas of pigment recall natural pathways, weathered surfaces and the gradual transformations that take place through time, growth and exposure.

Within Whispers, the work explores how change leaves traces that do not always settle into a single form. Separated by small spaces, the four elements suggest fragments of an experience that remain connected while continuing to shift.

The artwork is designed to be installed vertically. It includes two 60 × 20 cm (23.6 × 7.9 in) canvases at the ends and two 20 × 20 cm (7.9 × 7.9 in) canvases in the centre. With the recommended 4 cm spacing between each piece, the overall installed size is approximately 172 × 20 cm (67.7 × 7.9 in). The spacing can be adjusted slightly to suit the wall.
