ARTIST BIO

Hi, I am Stephanie.

I am a Brazilian abstract artist based in Berlin.

Painting became central to my life after experiences that changed how I relate to time, choice and what feels essential. A cancer diagnosis several years ago, motherhood, professional transition and living across cultures inform the emotional weight of my work.

In my current series, Whispers and Passage, I work with diluted acrylic on raw cotton canvas, allowing water, color and absorption to shape each composition. Whispers explores emotional traces, softness and what remains beneath the surface, while Passage moves further into transition, direction and the physical movement of pigment through the canvas.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent over a decade in international marketing leadership roles.

My work is held in private collections across Europe, the United States and Brazil.

Alongside original works, I accept selected commissions for private residences and hospitality projects, with custom sizes and palettes available upon request.

INQUIRIES & COMMISSIONS

Frequently asked questions

1. Are all artworks original? Where are they created?

Yes. Every artwork is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. I prepare and stretch each canvas by hand before creating the artwork in my Berlin studio.
Each artwork is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

2. Do you accept commissions?

Yes. I accept selected commissions in both small and large formats for private residences, commercial spaces and interior design projects. Each artwork is developed in conversation with the client, considering the dimensions, palette, movement and atmosphere of the intended space.

Completion usually takes between 2 and 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the artwork and my current schedule. A 25% deposit is required to begin. To discuss a commission, please get in touch through the commissions page.

3. Can I view an artwork in person?

Yes. Studio visits in Berlin are available by appointment. To arrange a visit, please contact me by email or via Instagram.

4. Can you help me visualise an artwork in my space?

Yes. Send a clear photograph of your room and the approximate wall measurements, and I can create a digital visualisation with the selected artwork.

5. Are frames included?

Frames are not included in the unframed price. When framing is available, you can select the framed option on the artwork’s product page and see its corresponding price before purchasing. Availability depends on the artwork’s dimensions and shipping destination.

6. What shipping formats are available?

Each artwork’s product page shows the available formats and their prices. For ready-to-hang artworks, you can choose framed or unframed from the options available on the product page. The framed option includes the cost of the frame in its displayed price.

Up to 100 cm on the longest side:

  • Worldwide: ready to hang, either framed or unframed, depending on your selected option.

101–140 cm on the longest side:

  • Within Europe: ready to hang, either framed or unframed, depending on your selected option.
  • Outside Europe: shipped rolled only.

Over 140 cm on the longest side:

  • Berlin: ready to hang, either framed or unframed, depending on your selected option.
  • Elsewhere in Europe: shipped rolled only.
  • Outside Europe: shipped rolled only.

What does “shipped rolled” mean?

The canvas is removed from its wooden stretcher and shipped in a protective tube, without a frame. After delivery, it must be stretched onto a new wooden stretcher by a local framer before it can be hung. A decorative frame can then be added if desired. Local stretching and framing costs are not included in the artwork’s price

7. How much does shipping cost and how long does delivery take?

For original works, shipping is charged at a flat rate based on the destination and the longest side of the artwork. Delivery estimates are in business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Shipping for commissioned artworks is quoted separately, according to each project’s requirements.
