Returning is an original abstract painting from the Whispers series, created on raw cotton canvas with diluted acrylics, water and layered pigment.

Its palette draws from nature, with warm brown and earthy tones surrounding a soft, luminous area at the centre. The diffused transitions recall mist lifting, light emerging through clouds and the gradual return of warmth after a darker period.

Within Whispers, the work reflects what remains after change and the way familiar sensations can slowly return, altered by the traces of what came before.
