A Soft Place · 50 × 50 cm (19.7 × 19.7 in)

A Soft Place is an original abstract painting from the Whispers series, created on raw cotton canvas with diluted acrylics, water and layered pigment.

Its palette is inspired by nature, combining soft brown, taupe and muted earthy tones with blurred transitions and gentle shifts of light. The subdued colors recall mist, soil, shadow and the softened surfaces found in landscapes as they change through weather and time.

Within Whispers, the work reflects the quieter traces left by change, the marks that remain when intensity has passed and something softer begins to settle in.
